Liverpool are ready to make a move for Barcelona playmaker Arda Turan in the January transfer window, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon.
Much of the coverage in the press between these two clubs of late has been talk linking Philippe Coutinho with a move to Camp Nou.

However, Jurgen Klopp reportedly has his eye on one of the La Liga champions’ top players, with a potential raid on Luis Enrique’s men in the new year.
Turan moved to Barcelona last year but has been in-and-out of the starting XI at Camp Nou, with extreme competition for places for the Blaugrana.
The Turkey international has started six La Liga games so far in 2016-17, scoring twice in the process, but the return to fitness of Lionel Messi has limited the 29-year-old’s chances to play.
Liverpool’s scintillating attack has fired the Merseyside club to the top of the Premier League this season but the addition of Turan would send the Kop into rapture.
The former Atletico Madrid star would surely be versatile enough to play on one of the flanks or in the Reds’ three-man central midfield but it remains to be seen whether Barcelona are willing to part company with the talented Turk.
