Everton’s hopes of landing Italy international centre forward Manolo Gabbiadini have been rocked after Napoli rejected a £19.6 million offer from the Toffees, according to The Express.
Ronald Koeman is keen to bolster his squad this summer and has already brought a number of exciting new players to Goodison Park in recent months.
However, the Merseyside outfit are expected to be busy right up until the window cut-off as they look to add further players.

Gabbiadini is highly rated in his homeland but not guaranteed regular first-team football at the Serie A club, which he joined from Sampdoria in January 2015.
Everton are believed to want a new forward to complement Romelu Lukaku, with Koeman set to play two strikers in a 3-5-2 formation this season.
There are no details clarifying whether the Toffees will return with another improved offer for Gabbiadini, who faces the prospect of a place on the Napoli bench for the majority of 2016-17 if terms cannot be agreed.
