Everton have reportedly identified Chelsea’s on-loan defender Baba Rahman as a potential transfer target, with Ghana Soccernet stating that the Toffees could look to sign the African next summer.
The 22-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge from German side Augsburg last summer but has not been given a chance to show Premier League audiences what he is capable of as yet.

Rahman only made 11 Premier League starts last season and has spent this term on loan at Bundesliga outfit Schalke.
The report suggests that Everton have been keeping a close eye on the left-back during his time in Gelsenkirchen and are eyeing a potentially shrewd move for the Ghanaian defender.
The Toffees currently have Leighton Baines in the position but with the England international getting older, the Chelsea man is being touted as a potential long-term replacement for the veteran.
The Blues have switched to a 3-4-2-1 formation under Antonio Conte, while the summer signing of Marcos Alonso from Fiorentina has seemingly all-but ended Rahman’s chances of playing at Stamford Bridge.
