The Toffees will be looking for a second consecutive league victory after having ended their poor run of form with an impressive 2-0 win against West Ham in the Premier League last weekend.
Everton have Seamus Coleman available again after he served his suspension, according to a report which was published by Sky Sports.
The report added that Toffees midfielders Fabian Delph and Morgan Schneiderlin will also be available again after having missed the game against West Ham due to injury.
Yerry Mina is not expected to be part of the Everton match day squad due to a knee injury.
In some positive news for Marco Silva’s side, Mason Holgate could be set to potentially make his first Premier League start of the season.
Everton have yet to defeat Brighton in a Premier League game at the AMEX Stadium.
The corresponding fixture ended in a 1-0 win for the home side last season.
If the Seagulls manage to win the game, it will be the first time since October 2018 that they would have won two consecutive Premier League games.
A win for the Toffees would however help to ease the pressure on Everton boss Silva.
Many fans of Everton want Silva gone after the club was hovering in the relegation as lately as two weeks ago.
In spite of the club having beaten West Ham last weekend, many supporters do not believe that Silva is the right man to lead the club forward.
