Everton go into today’s Premier League clash against Leicester City with Richarlison fit to play after recovering from a knock he picked up during Saturday’s defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, according to the BBC.
However, Toffees boss Marco Silva may still be without forward Ademola Lookman, who will undergo a late fitness test on the ankle problem that has seen him absent for the last three games.
After being rested against Brighton, Everton should recall influential midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson for the clash at Goodison Park, most likely in place of Idrissa Gueye.
The 1-0 defeat against the Seagulls was a setback for the Toffees, who had responded to a 6-2 mauling at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur by thrashing Burnley 5-1.
And Silva is keen for Everton to make a winning start to 2019 and build confidence for the rest of the campaign.
“It’s up to us to win again, not just one game but more games in a row to get this confidence going again and be more consistent,” he told the club’s official website.
The Portuguese has no other injury worries to consider allowing him to rotate his Toffees squad if he feels the need to freshen things up.
Everton have a good recent record against Leicester, having won three of their last four Premier League meetings.
They beat the Foxes 2-1 away earlier in the season and a repeat would go down very well with the Toffees fans this evening.
Leicester have not won at Goodison Park – where Everton have only lost twice this season – since 2015.
Possible Everton line-up: Jordan Pickford; Lucas Digne, Kurt Zouma, Yerry Mina, Michael Keane, Seamus Coleman (c); Gylfi Sigurdsson, Andre Gomes, Bernard/Ademola Lookman, Theo Walcott; Richarlison
