Sissoko was expected to leave St James’ Park earlier this summer but as yet there has been no deal in place to see the all-action midfielder move elsewhere.
The Newcastle man starred for France at Euro 2016, adding to speculation that he could move back to the Premier League or to a major club overseas.
The latest report suggests that both Palace and Everton are in the hunt to land Sissoko before the summer transfer window closes on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old has not featured for Newcastle this season in The Championship but time is running out for the midfielder to seal a deal to leave the North East club.
Sissoko was an important player for the Tyneside club and on occasion show incredible stamina and power in barnstorming runs forward when in possession.
