Everton have decided to award the young Korede Adedoyin with a new contract, according to a report published by All Nigeria Soccer.
The impressive youngster has reportedly attracted interest from elsewhere which prompted the Toffees to offer him a new deal. Other clubs are trying to lure him with the promise of first-team action at senior level.
The Everton player is now set to weigh up his options. As things stand, he is unlikely to be offered assurances over first-team action by Everton so it is expected that he will consider offers from other clubs.
Adedoyin is now left with two options, he can either remain with the Toffees, continue his development with the reserve side and aim to push for first-team selection or move elsewhere and play first-team football.
The Everton youngster was one of the stars in the U18 Premier League this season as he went on to score 11 goals from 17 appearances.
It is therefore no surprise that Adedoyin has attract interest from other clubs. He is now perhaps good enough to play first team football for some Championship and lower League clubs.
Everton must do all that they can to try and keep this youngster. He is showing glimpses that he could one day be good enough to be integrated into the first-team. A good resolution would be for the Merseysiders to persuade him to stay and then send him on loan to another club for the season ahead where he will be able to gain more experience, grow and learn as a player.
