Everton are in the market to sign a new attacker and have launched a €25 million (£21.5 million) bid for Napoli’s versatile forward Manolo Gabbiadini, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
The Toffees have money to spend following the sale of John Stones to Manchester City and have recently broken their club record transfer fee to land Yannick Bolasie from Everton.
Rumours surrounding the future of Romelu Lukaku, who is believed to be coveted by former employers Chelsea, continue to circulate and as such Ronald Koeman may have to consider life without the Belgian powerhouse.
Gabbiadini is a promising Italy international striker but he has not had the rub of the green in the last 12 months.

— CalcioNapoli24.it (@CalcioNapoli24) August 19, 2016
A sensation for Sampdoria, the 24-year-old was snapped up by Napoli in January 2015 but has found first-team opportunities at the Stadio San Paolo hard to come by.
Although Gonzalo Higuain has been sold by the Naples-based outfit, speculation over Gaddiadini’s future continues to swirl in the Italian media.
Maurizio Sarri’s men will surely be tempted to sell the striker if Everton’s €25 million offer is valid, especially as they only paid €13 million for him 18 months ago.
