Two of Everton’s top players have been linked with moves away from Goodison Park, with the Merseysiders potentially set to recoup £130 million if the reports are correct.
The Daily Mail have reported that Idrissa Gueye is wanted by both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, with the Toffees coming to terms that the combative midfielder is heading towards the club exit door – but want £40 million for the 29-year-old.
The Mirror state that both PSG and Atletico Madrid want to sign Everton star man Richarlison, who is rated at £70 million.
Speculation over Gueye’s future is nothing new, with the Senegalese battler reportedly close to sealing a deal in the January transfer window.
The centre of midfield will be an area that Marco Silva looks to reinforce this summer, especially if the African star leaves and the Toffees are unable to complete a deal for loan man Andre Gomes.
While Everton fans would potentially accept Gueye being sold if a quality replacement was found, selling Richarlison could cause dissent in the ranks.
The Brazil international has been in spectacular form of late and impressed since joining the Toffees from Watford in the summer.
While the Everton supporters will demand the club spend the required money this summer to get closer to the Premier League top six, keeping the outfit’s current best players could and should also be a priority.
