Everton striker Enner Valencia made an impact yet again from the substitutes bench during the Toffees’ 4-0 destruction of Hull City on Saturday.

Just 69 seconds after replacing midfielder Tom Davies in the 77th minute, the 27-year-old netted his second goal in as many games – after notching a late conciliation at White Hart Lane during the Blues’ 3-2 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month.

The Ecuador international also set up teammate and goal-machine Romelu Lukaku for his 20th of the season in an action-packed 13-minute cameo appearance.

The attacker had struggled to settle into life at Goodison Park since arriving on his year-long loan move from fellow Premier League club West Ham United – making only bit-part appearances behind his Belgian strike-partner.

However, Valencia’s form of late has allowed the Merseyside club’s faithful to recognise the ability of their loanee, after showing glimpses of why boss Ronald Koeman brought him to the north west.

Following Saturday’s rout, Evertonians took to Twitter to praise their in-form man and also declare that the 27-year-old should be signed on a permanent basis.
