The Yorkshire club have allegedly put a £15 million price tag on the New Zealand international, who has scored 27 goals in 40 matches in all competitions this season and has been a huge part of the team’s promotion challenge.
Garry Monk’s side, who are fourth and in contention for a play-off place, are aiming to help the club return to the top tier of English football for the first time since 2004.
The 25-year-old moved to Elland Road from Leicester City for £3 million in 2015 and signed a deal that runs until 2019.
The Blues are currently seventh as they look to qualify for European football next season.
Everton know that if Leeds do not make it to the top-flight at the end of this campaign, Wood may look leave the Peacocks if a Premier League club were to come knocking for him.
