Everton have confirmed via the club’s official website that midfielder Tom Cleverley will join Watford permanently at the end of this season on a five-year-deal.
The 27-year-old has been on loan at the Hornets since Toffees boss Ronald Koeman deemed the England international surplus to requirements in January as part of a mass squad shake-up.

But the former Manchester United man is now set to make the switch to Vicarage Road full-time, after the two clubs came to an agreement.
Cleverley joined the Blues on a free-transfer in 2015 and was a regular feature at Goodison Park under former manager Roberto Martinez, however following the Spaniard’s dismissal at the end of last season the ex-Olympian struggled to maintain a place in the starting XI.
The defensive-minded midfielder only made 10 appearances in the first half of this season, with six of those as a substitute, and failed to impress Koeman who bought in Morgan Schneiderlin as a more suitable option.
Cleverley has made eight Premier League appearances for Watford since joining the club, contributing to two victories and providing a couple of assists in the process.
