Everton have had a £25.5 million offer for superbly gifted Porto attacking midfielder Yacine Brahimi rejected according to The Mirror, but the Toffees are said to be confident of getting a deal completed before the transfer window closes.
The Algeria international has been a stunning performer for the Portuguese side and has been linked with a move to Arsenal as an alternative to Riyad Mahrez.
Brahimi looks set to leave Porto this summer, with the Estadio do Dragao side willing to cash-in on the North African and plenty of suitors interested in the star.

The report suggests that the Goodison Park club’s opening offer has been turned back, with the Portuguese giants holding out for a fee closer to £35 million.
However, Brahimi is said to have been convinced to a move to Merseyside due to Everton’s ambition and as such it is only a matter of the clubs agreeing a transfer fee.
Ronald Koeman has added a number of new faces to his squad this summer but the Toffees are expected to be busy in the final days of the window.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal are still in the hunt for Brahimi, given that the North London side are closing in on a deal to land Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna.
