Everton were held to a 1-1 draw with Newcastle United on Wednesday night and fans were not too happy with the performance of one of their players on social media.
Marco Silva would have wanted to see his side bounce back from their disappointing Merseyside derby defeat to Liverpool.
However, Everton had come up against a resilient Newcastle side that Rafa Benitez had managed to see the best out of recently.
The Magpies took an early lead through Salomon Rondon, but the Toffees found themselves on level terms before the break.
Richarlison managed to continue his good form in front of goal and helped Everton to a point on what proved to be a largely frustrating night.
Fans were angry with the performance on Twitter and took to the social media site to slam the performance of one of their summer signings.
Lucas Digne arrived from Barcelona in the previous transfer window and has become something of a favourite with those at Everton.
However, his performance at Goodison Park on Wednesday night was largely criticised by supporters.
Many had slammed his ability going forward and being unable to beat the first man when putting a cross into the box.
Everton fans felt that he had not been good enough, whilst others had called for him to improve on his crossing immediately.
Here are some of their reactions:
Shows that he never watched the game ! Digne’s delivery was fantastic ? This honestly the most frustrated I’ve been with a single player .. his delivery tonight was awful … really poor

Digne was awful tonight as well. He needs to improve if he wants to keep baines out the side

Yes, Digne had a shocker. Delivery was awful, but hes allowed a poor game! Siggurdsson is always likely to create. You know, I think we had 14 corners and never won one header in their box! Even our goal was from their defender's header. On to Monday.

7 is very, very generous to Digne. I love him to bits, he's one of the first names I have on the team sheet but he was out of sorts today. Delivery was absolutely dreadful.

Bloody awful that tonight, we put a 6'5" centre half up for all set pieces and we never beat the first man,Digne,Gueye,Tosun,Lookman,Seamus and Gylfi not good enough tonight..and why the hell does Bernard keep slipping over

Digne was v poor tonight so lower rating for me. He had countless crosses and set pieces especially 2nd half – all really dissapointing. Baines would have provided more quality

Digne's crossing was pathetic. It is a myth he puts a good ball in.

Bad result. No one really played well and our end product was awful, particularly from Digne. The one big takeaway was that we need a ST. Tosun just hasn't taken his chances this season and DCL is not good enough to be leading the line. Lookman wasn't good, but wasn't bad either.
