Chelsea have enquired about re-signing Thorgan Hazard, who left the club for Borussia Monchengladbach in 2015, according to German journalist Philip Harmeling.
He may have been the lesser known Hazard at Stamford Bridge, where older brother Eden hogs the limelight, but the Belgium international is making a name for himself in Germany.
Chelsea has approached #BMG for Hazard and his buy-out clause. The price is fixed around Ä18-20M but none of BMG and Hazard are interested.

He originally joined the Bundesliga outfit on loan back in 2014, before agreeing to make the move permanent in February of the following year having failed to make a single appearance whilst on the books of the Blues.
Since swapping London for Monchengladbach, Hazard has found the back of the net 18 times whilst also racking up 20 assists.

It is understood that the London club inserted a buy-back clause in the attacking midfielder’s contract, believed to be between £16 and £18 million with Antonio Conte ready to make a move for Hazard during the January transfer window.
However, the 23-year-old is reported to have no interest in returning to Stamford Bridge and is ready to stay put with the German outfit.
“I’ve signed a long-term deal and I am only focused on Borussia,’ he told the German press recently.
“I feel good here, and am currently not thinking about any other club.”

On transfer deadline-day, back in August, Chelsea forked out £30m to bring Brazilian defender David Luiz back to the club, just two years after leaving the Blues for Paris Saint-Germain.
