Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is set to drop Branislav Ivanovic from his starting XI for the upcoming Premier League clash with Arsenal, according to The Mirror.
The Blues started the new campaign well following the Italian trainer’s appointment, but a draw against Swansea and defeat to Liverpool have raised question marks in the last two weeks.
Ivanovic suffered from poor form last season, along with a host of his team-mates, and has received the nod to play this term at right-back.

However, the latest report suggests that the West London outfit are ready to remove the Serbian from the firing line and bring new signing Marcos Alonso into the team.
This would see the transfer deadline day addition assume the left-back spot, with compatriot Cesar Azpilicueta switching to the opposite flank.
There is an argument that Ivanovic could be considered for a role at centre-half, especially if Conte opts to introduce the 3-5-2 formation that he adopted at Juventus.
Chelsea travel to take on Arsenal in a much-anticipated Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
