In a blockbuster Friday night Premier League fixture, heavyweights Chelsea and Liverpool will lock horns at Stamford Bridge in what promises to be a high-quality encounter.
Both sides have shown glimpses of excellent football this season and a victory for either here would go far in putting a marker down for the campaign ahead.
The hosts have seemingly been rejuvenated by Antonio Conte’s arrival and a fit and firing Diego Costa has been back in the menacing form of 2014-15, where his goals fired the West London side to the Premier League title.

Liverpool meanwhile have beaten Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, dominated the first-half against Tottenham at White Hart Lane and dismantled champions Leicester City 4-1.
With Jurgen Klopp’s methods starting to sink in and a relatively settled starting XI, a place in the Premier League’s top four will be the minimum the Merseyside fans expect this season.
Chelsea are set to be without captain John Terry, who picked up an injury late in the 2-2 draw with Swansea City last time out.
This will grant David Luiz a much-anticipated second Premier League debut for the West London side following his big-money transfer deadline day resigning from Paris Saint-Germain.
Apart from the Brazilian’s reintroduction, the Blues are expected to be the same across the park.

Liverpool boss Klopp has a tough decision to make in the final third, with four attackers vying for three starting berths for the Premier League clash.
Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino look certain to play, but it will the Brazilian’s position that is of most interest.
If the former Hoffenheim star leads the line it will allow his compatriot Philippe Coutinho to slot in on the left, but if Firmino is offered that role then Daniel Sturridge may well get the nod to start as the furthest man forward.
Predicted Chelsea XI (4-1-4-1): Courtois; Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Kante; Willian, Matic, Oscar, Hazard; Costa
Predicted Liverpool XI (4-3-3): Mignolet; Clyne, Matip, Lovren, Milner; Henderson, Lallana, Wijnaldum; Mane, Firmino, Coutinho
