Chelsea will have to stump up a whopping £50 million if they are to tempt Alessio Romagnoli from AC Milan, according to The Sun.
Antonio Conte was vocal in his desire to sign a new centre-half over the summer and made a number of high-profile attempts to convince the Rossoneri to part company with their prized asset.

However, Romagnoli was not allowed to talk to the Premier League club and remained at the San Siro – but talk in the press is that the Blues will return for the former Roma man in the new year.
The 21-year-old is adjudged to be a rising star of the Italian game and made his international debut for the Azzurri earlier this week after star performances at club level.
The report suggests that despite links to Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci, the Milan centre-half is Conte’s preferred option and number one January transfer target.
However, if the Blues are to add Romagnoli to their defensive ranks, a fee in the region of £50 million will be needed to convince Milan to sell.
