Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has welcomed Paul Pogba back to the Premier League on Twitter with a funny video of him nutmegging the Manchester United star.

The French midfielder has rejoined the Old Trafford club for a world-record transfer fee, in a real statement of intent from the Red Devils.

Pogba will surely bring the energy, dynamism and quality to the United midfield that has been missing in recent years and his battles with other top-class boiler room protagonists will be interesting in 2016-17.

As can be seen above, Mikel has been quick to welcome Pogba back to English football, but stokes the flames slightly by posting a video of him nutmegging the Red Devils star while the pair were on international duty.

Mikel is a long-serving player at Chelsea but the summer acquisition of N’Golo Kante suggests that the Nigeria international will continue to play a fringe role with the 2014-15 Premier League champions.

Pogba is suspended for United’s opening fixture of the season away to Bournemouth but looks ready to make an immediate impact once he is unleashed the week after.
