Chelsea have received a boost ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with London rivals Arsenal, with The Independent stating that John Terry is set to return for the game.
The Blues skipper picked up an ankle injury late in the 2-2 draw with Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium earlier this month and missed the West London club’s last Premier League game, a 2-1 home defeat to Liverpool.

David Luiz was given his second Premier League debut as a result of Terry’s unavailability but Antonio Conte’s men lacked an authoritative defensive leader without their skipper.
The latest report suggests that the English veteran will not feature against Leicester City in the League Cup during midweek but will be fit to face the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
It will be interesting to see just who Conte plays in the heart of his defence against the Gunners and what formation, with a building case to suggest the Italian may revert to three at the back – a system that worked wonders for him at Juventus.
