With Mesut Ozil’s contract situation still not sorted out at Arsenal, a host of Premier League rivals including Chelsea are keeping a close eye on the Germany international, according to The Sun.
The World Cup winner is the creative fulcrum of Arsene Wenger’s team and has been in exceptional form over the last 18 months at the Emirates Stadium.

However, with the former Real Madrid man’s deal ticking closer to expiry, negotiations are believed to be underway over a possible extension.
That said, talk in the press over the last six months has been that Ozil is holding all the aces and Arsenal will have to break their wage structure to tie down the creative star to a new deal.
With money no object to London rivals Chelsea, a move for the gifted technician is now being touted in the media.
Losing Ozil to the Blues would be a major blow to the Gunners, who need to keep their best players at the club if they are to fight for major silverware.
The report also suggests that Manchester United and City would be interested in signing the German should the opportunity arise.
