Chelsea are reportedly preparing a €45 million (£37.7 million) offer for Fiorentina wideman Federico Bernardeschi, according to Calcio Mercato.
The Italy international has been in excellent form at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, starting 12 Serie A games this season and netted seven goals from midfield.

Bernardeschi is versatile enough to play in a number of positions but in Chelsea’s current system he would surely be an option at the right wing-back role currently occupied by Victor Moses.
Blues boss Antonio Conte knows the 22-year-old well from the his time in charge of the Italian national set-up.
Chelsea have raided Fiorentina twice in the recent past to sign both Juan Cuadrado and Marcos Alonso, with the potential for a third player to move from Florence to London seemingly building.
Conte was expected to look to Serie A to conduct most of his transfer business but as yet Alonso is the only new face to have moved from Italy to Stamford Bridge.
Bernardeschi has come through the Viola youth ranks and is a rising star of the Italian game.
