Crystal Palace are ready to explore the possibility of signing out-of-favour Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic according to The Mirror.
The Serbian veteran was a scapegoat in the Blues’ terrible 2015-16 campaign, with the right-back struggling to replicate the form of previous campaigns.

Ivanovic started this season in the West London outfit’s team but has been dropped since Antonio Conte’s decision to revert to a 3-4-3 formation.
Chelsea have gone on a winning run since dropping the former Lokomotiv Moscow man and have not conceded a goal in their last four Premier League games.
Ivanovic is out of contract at the end of the season and it seems unlikely that his terms will be extended at Stamford Bridge.
Palace have taken Loic Remy on loan from Chelsea and are seemingly set to raid their London rivals once more.
A move to sign Ivanovic seems ambitious but Alan Prdew’s men will be free to talk to the Serbian in January to discuss a permanent transfer or the potential of the defender signing a pre-contract agreement to move to Selhurst Park in the summer.
