Chelsea are now in pole-position to sign AIK striker Alexander Isak after the Swedish club rejected a £7 million bid from Real Madrid, according to The Sun.
It was reported last month that the Blues were leading the way against Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus to secure the 17-year-old’s signature in January, who has been dubbed the ‘new Zlatan Ibrahimovic’.
And now it seems that another European giant may have to make way for the London club to land the Scandinavian.

Chelsea will be spurred by reports that the La Liga leaders were not able to table a suitable bid to prize the young-prospect away – something they have been continuously successful at in recent times.
Chelsea may not have it all their own way however.
The report suggests that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Premier League side West Ham United are also monitoring the young Swede – who has notched 10 goals in 24 matches this campaign.
It is thought Madrid will return with an improved bid for the talented youngster, but the Stamford Bridge hierarchy are seemingly confident they can beat all competition to Isak.
