The latest report suggests that the Premier League side are tempted to move for another of the Stade Velodrome outfit’s prized possessions in January.
Kamara is still only 16 years old but has impressed in the Ligue 1 side’s youth ranks as an able and mobile central defender and for France under-18’s.
The teenager has not signed a professional contract with Marseille and as such his current club are in danger of losing the starlet for next to nothing.
The report suggests that Chelsea are favourites to land Kamara but have Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund for competition.
Marseille are believed to rate the 16-year-old highly and want him to sign a three-year deal to stay at the club.
Chelsea are renowned for buying up young talent and loaning players out to other clubs, with over 35 men on the Blues’ books spending this season elsewhere.
