Former Premier League pair Edin Dzeko and Mohamed Salah are European football’s deadliest double act, with the pair netting 20 Serie A goals between them this season.
This tally is the most of any attacking duo in the entire continent so far in 2016-17, showing that the duo should have potentially been given more of an opportunity at Chelsea and Manchester City respectively.

Salah moved to Stamford Bridge in 2014 but only played 13 Premier League games for the Blues before being branded as surplus to requirements in West London.
Subsequent successful loan stints in Italy have been followed by a permanent exit, with Chelsea selling the Egypt international for a reported €15 million in the summer.
Dzeko was part of City’s success under Roberto Mancini but never got a consistent run in the Etihad Stadium side before leaving Manchester.
The pair’s 20 goals this season is more than Barcelona dup Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez (18) and Real Madrid double act Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale (15).
Ahead of the Rome derby between Roma and Lazio, Salah has picked up an injury in what is a biter blow for the Giallorossi.
Dzeko tops Serie A’s scoring charts this season with 12 goals, while his Egyptian team-mate has netted eight from midfield.
