Chelsea are weighing up a transfer deadline day move for Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour, according to France Football.
The Tunisia international was linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in his Monaco days but opted for a switch to the La Liga side instead.
Valencia have already sold Shkodran Mustafi to Arsenal this summer but look to be signing Eliaquim Mangala on loan from Manchester City.

Chelsea have been unsuccessful in landing a number of reported centre-half targets, with the likes of Alessio Romagnoli and Kalidou Koulibaly evading their grasps.
Abdennour could well be a player that Antonio Conte’s men could sign at short notice, with talk in the French press that the 27-year-old could move to Stamford Bridge on a loan deal to provide cover in the Blues squad.
Conte has been vocal in his desire to sign a central defender, with the West London team linked with the likes of Angelo Ogbonna and their former player David Luiz already today.
