Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that a deal to sign Valencia and Germany international central defender Shkodran Mustafi is all-but done, with the Gunners to unveil the star imminently.
The Emirates Stadium outfit have been urged to sign a new centre-half this summer by their fans and the North London club have duly listened.

Mustafi will bring a physical presence and significant experience to the Arsenal squad, with the World Cup winner impressing in Spain over recent years.
Liverpool were being linked with the German earlier in the summer but Jurgen Klopp has opted to sign Ragnar Klaven and Joel Matip instead of the Valencia star.
Chelsea meanwhile are still in the market for a new central defender by Antonio Conte’s own admission but are finding recruiting signings difficult.
