Chelsea have been linked with an interest in Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies for the second time in a month, with The Sun stating that the Wales international is one of the players in Antonio Conte’s gaze.
The Blues are looking for defensive reinforcements since changing formation to a 3-4-3 set-up, with scope for extra options in the wing-back positions.

Conte is also said to want to bolster his homegrown contingent in the squad, with a number of other young players such as Ben Gibson, Jamaal Lascelles and Michael Keane ask in consideration.
Davies plays second fiddle to Danny Rose at White Hart Lane but is a player that Mauricio Pochettino clearly trusts and values in his squad.
Spurs would surely be reluctant to sell the former Swansea City man to their London rivals but it remains to be seen whether an offer from the Blues will be placed ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
