Chelsea’s comeback from 2-0 down to win 4-2 against Leicester City on Tuesday night was arguably the tie of the round in the EFL Cup.

The match at the King Power Stadium was one that got fans all around the country talking for many reasons.

Shinji Okazaki’s first-half performance reminded us all of how vital a player he can be for the Foxes.

Cesar Azpilicueta’s beautiful volley that bought the score to 2-2 was a real sight to behold, but above all else it seemed that Cesc Fabregas, the man who Antonio Conte has been refusing to start in games so far this season, was the player who got all the Chelsea fans excited.

The Spanish midfielder’s brace in extra time was the game-changer in this match and he certainly got Blues’ fans confused as to why Conte has decided not to play him so far this season.

With Chelsea’s set to face Fabregas’ former employers Arsenal on Saturday, there is a case building that the mercurial playmaker may well be included in the visitors’ starting XI.

Here are the best tweets from the Blues fans.

Fabregas’ performance and the fans opinions of him will certainly give Conte food for thought ahead of the mouth-watering clash at the Emirates Stadium.
