Crystal Palace are on the verge of signing French forward Loic Remy from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal, with a €12 million (£10.3m) option to buy also included in the terms, according to Le 10 Sport.
The Blues look set to keep tempestuous centre forward Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge while Michy Batshuayi has also been added to the West London squad at considerable expense this summer.
As such, opportunities for Remy to play under Antonio Conte look set to be fleeting, with the former Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United attacker third choice for the Italian.

Palace have already smashed their transfer record to land Christian Benteke from Liverpool this summer, in a move designed to end their lack of potency in the final third.
However, the Selhurst Park club could well be spoilt for choice up front if the deal to land Remy falls in place.
Eagles manager Alan Pardew knows the sprightly attacker well from their mutual time together at Newcastle and as such the transfer appears to suit all parties.
