Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal to send out-of-favour midfielder Oscar out on loan to Fenerbahce, according to Turkish newspaper Ajansspor.
The 25-year-old has been a critical component of the Blues team in recent years but the Brazil international has fallen down the pecking order since Antonio Conte’s arrival in the summer.
Oscar has only started five Premier League games this season and turned into something of a forgotten man since Chelsea switched to a 3-4-2-1 formation.
As such, transfer rumours are starting to circulate that the gifted technician could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge at the next opportunity.
The report claims that Chelsea and Fenerbahce have been in negotiations already over a possible loan deal that would see Oscar move to Istanbul next month and complete the season for the Turkish club.
This could well be a move that suits all parties, with the South American seemingly not fitting into Conte’s plans or the new system tat has served the Premier League side so well.
