Despite the fact that Antonio Conte is in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer, Miazga is seemingly not ready for the exertions of the Premier League and will instead be farmed out to Germany.
Although a talented young player, the reasons behind Chelsea’s purchase of the American enforcer remain to be seen.
With football now the global game and a battle off the pitch to win fans, the Blues have been accused of purchasing Miazga with the objective of tapping into the North American supporter base.
Chelsea have had a sizeable number of young players farmed out on loan over recent campaigns and it appears that Miazga will be added to 2016-17’s list of those owned by the West London club but playing elsewhere.
