Chelsea are preparing a monster £40 million offer for Napoli defensive midfielder Amadou Diawara, according to The Sun.
The Guinean enforcer has impressed in Naples since a summer move from Bologna in the handful of games he has played in Serie A.

The report suggests that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has had Diawara on his radar for some time and would be willing to break the bank to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The live wire 19-year-old would be another option for the Blues in central midfield and add energy to a side that has looked like title contenders over the last month.
The transfer report also suggests that Tottenham Hotspur are in the hunt for Diawara’s signature and have already had a £34 million offer rejected by Napoli.
Both London teams appear to have plenty of options in the heart of their respective midfields but the teenage starlet appears to be on Premier League radars.
