Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is keen to reunite with Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini at Stamford Bridge and has made a desperate £25 million bid to land the Italy international, according to The Sun.
The new Blues boss has won both of his first two games in charge in West London but is believed to covet a host of new players – including a proven centre-half.
Conte knows Chiellini well from their mutual time together with the Bianconeri, as the Italy international has been an essential member of the Turin giants’ recent success.

With reports in the press suggesting that Chelsea are being priced out of a move for Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly, the Blues look to have turned their attention to Conte’s former club.
Juventus will surely be intent on keeping the world-class central defender at the club, but the loan acquisition of Mehdi Benatia from Bayern Munich has offered the Serie A champions a ready-made replacement.
John Terry and Gary Cahill have been operating at the heart of Chelsea’s defence so far this season, while Kurt Zouma is still recovering from injury.
However, it appears that Conte is keen to add a proven performer to his options and purchasing Chiellini from Juventus would be a real coup for the silverware-chasing Premier League side.
