Glasgow Celtic take on Romanian club CFR Cluj in a Champions League third qualifying round second leg clash at Parkhead on Tuesday night.
The two sides head into the clash square at 1-1 on aggregate. The Hoops will be the favourites to advance to the next round considering that they managed to score a vital away goal, as well as not lose during the last leg.
That said, Celtic boss Neil Lennon will be aware that his side cannot afford to take anything for granted in the Champions League, especially considering that they have had their bad fortunes in Europe’s premier club competition in the past.
The Hoops can however afford to go into this game full of confidence especially considering that their opponents have failed to win any of their three away qualifiers so far this season.
Celtic have also been playing positive football in the Scottish Premiership so far, having won both of their league games by big margins and will be looking to continue this trend against Cluj.
Lennon will have to just ensure that his Hoops defence is steadfast during the game.
Cluj are more than capable of scoring goals and have managed to find the back of the net during their previous nine games in all competitions.
The winner from the tie will advance and take on Slavia Prague.
Celtic will have to make do without the services of Tom Rogic, Eboue Kouassi and Daniel Arzani who are all injured, according to a report published by Goal.
Whether Mikey Johnston plays in the game is uncertain as he is set to undergo a late fitness test.
