Glasgow Celtic open their 2019/20 Scottish Premiership campaign with a game against St Johnstone at Celtic Park on Saturday.
In spite of dominating Scottish football for the best part of the last decade, the Hoops could face their strongest test yet this season for the league in the form of Rangers, who have bolstered their side with the addition of several new players this summer.
Celtic can be confident of winning the upcoming game and will be the firm favourites to claim three points. They are unbeaten in 10 meetings against St Johnstone, having last lost to them back in May 2016.
The Saints have also won just three out of their 25 Scottish Premiership games at Celtic Park.
The Hoops will be boosted by the return of Leigh Griffiths, as reported by Sky Sports.
The Celtic striker missed a big portion of last season due to personal reasons. His return will boost the front-line.
Kieran Tierney is also in contention to start the game after recovering from youngster.
Should the youngster play, it could just end up potentially being his last game for Celtic.
He has been linked with a move to Arsenal who could make another bid for him before the end of the English transfer window after having had their first offer declined by Neil Lennon’s side.
Centre-back Christopher Jullien is in line to make his league debut for Celtic.
The 26-year-old joined the club from Toulouse in a deal believed to be worth around £7 million.
He has the ingredients which are required to be a good replacement for Dedryck Boyata.
