Glasgow Celtic ended their Champions League campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Anderlecht, however, fans took to Twitter to provide their reactions over a sensational performance from one of their individuals.
The Bhoys still qualified for the Europa League with the loss at Parkhead, following heavy defeats to Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich in the group stage.
Brendan Rodgers would have wanted his Celtic side to have got the win as they look to continue to try and prove themselves against some of Europe’s best.
However, it was not to be, when a Jozo Simunovic own goal gave the Belgium outfit the three points on the night.
The introduction of Olivier Ntcham as a second-half substitute proved to give Celtic a much-needed boost and helped to provide a major difference.
The 23-year-old looked sharp and tried to make things happen for the Bhoys in the middle and as they were going forward, however, they were unable to make anything of those chances created.
The former Manchester City midfielder has made 23 appearances in all competitions for Celtic since joining in the summer, scoring four times and providing a further three assists.
After his performance against Anderlecht, he could see more time in Rodgers’ side, as the manager continues to rotate his squad as they look to continue their 67-game unbeaten domestic run.
Celtic fans were pleased with Ntcham’s display and took to Twitter to provide their reactions, with most believing he had made a real difference.

Perspective! Big picture is still good! I trust BR top manager! Need to step up performances 2nd half of season. Need a new right back, centre half and a number 10! Ntcham makings of a top player. Can see a pass!

Thought Ntcham looked excellent when he came on, on his game he is.a level or 2 above our other midfielders, hard to understand how he can’t get a run of games.
