Aberdeen are ready to sell Jonny Hayes to Glasgow Celtic, should the Hoops be prepared to meet the club’s demands, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.
The media outlet claims the Dons will consider letting the Republic of Ireland international leave Pittodrie should the Parkhead outfit offer cash as well as one of their own players.
It is thought Aberdeen will be willing to take an offer of Ryan Christie as well as a transfer fee for their 29-year-old midfielder who is in high-demand for the £1million rated player.
Birmingham City, Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City have all been linked with the international midfielder, who still has two years left on his current contract, however Brendan Rodgers’ side remain in the driving seat.
Christie is thought to be keen on a switch to the Dons on a permanent deal, after impressing for Derek McInnes’ team last season while on loan.
He helped guide Aberdeen to a second place finish in the Scottish Premiership above Glasgow Rangers, a match in which he scored the winner at Ibrox.
