West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has poured cold water on the suggestion that star player Dimitri Payet could leave the Hammers, while Simone Zaza’s agent has revealed the Premier League club do not want to keep the Italian beyond January.
With the London outfit struggling to live up to expectations this season, talk in the press has linked the French playmaker with a move to Manchester United, with suggestions Anthony Martial could go the other way.

Payet has been a revelation since moving to England last summer and starred for France at Euro 2016 also.
Bilic has reiterated the creative midfielder’s importance to West Ham and the fact that the former Marseille man will not be leaving in January.
“I can’t see any truth in that,” the Croat said, according to The Guardian.
“Regarding Payet, not regarding Martial. He is a good player, a great player. But I don’t see this happening.
“Do I expect Payet to stay? Of course. Great players are always the centre of interest. Payet is one of the best in the world and they are always the ones who are linked with the big clubs. But I hope, and I expect, he will stay with us.”
Meanwhile, Zaza’s underwhelming loan stint at West Ham could well come to an end next month as the Italy international’s agent has revealed that Bilic’s men do not want to keep the striker any longer.
The Juventus man has not scored since moving to London in the summer and has struggled to get to grips with the pace of the Premier League.
“Zaza will definitely go back to Juve, because West Ham do not want to keep him,” agent Vincenzo Morabito told Juve News.
“He could well stay in Turin, given that Juventus might need another striker. If not, there are plenty of other options.”
