Leicester City went back to third in the Premier League table last Sunday afternoon, when they saw off Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park, and ahead of today’s clash with Arsenal, supporters have been praising one under-rated man.

The Foxes were looking to back up their emphatic 9-0 win at Southampton against a side that many thought would cause them some problems and could be a banana skin for Brendan Rodgers’ charges.

It was a competitive first-half in which both teams largely cancelled each other out with both defences on top, and it was a Leicester defender who changed the game in the second period.

Caglar Soyuncu has become something of a colt hero among the Foxes fans since he came into the side in place of Harry Maguire, and is having a fine season at the King Power Stadium, one which he enhanced with the opening goal at Selhurst Park, heading home to put the former champions in front.

The points were wrapped up for Leicester a couple of minutes from time, when Jamie Vardy stepped up to add to his hat-trick in the win last weekend, finishing off a brilliant move and good work by Demarai Gray, to send the King Power outfit up to third in the table.

Leicester will hope that a win over Arsenal on Saturday will show their top-four credentials are real and ahead of the clash the Foxes supporters have been praising Soyuncu.

Many supporters took to social media to comment on his display last weekend and the impact he has made since coming into the team for Maguire.
