Everton fell to an agonising defeat at Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, but during and after the game, their fans found a positive from the 2-1 loss.
The Toffees made their way to the King Power Stadium under big pressure after a 2-0 home reversal to Norwich City last week, and with their away record under Marco Silva extremely indifferent, this looked like a really tough outing.
That forced the Everton boss to change their shape, and opt for three at the back with a couple of wing-backs to try and counter the attacking mite of Leicester, and the initial signs were that it was working nicely.
The Toffees shocked everyone in the stadium by taking the early midway through the opening period, when Djibril Sidibe, one of the men who came into the side, crossed for Richarlison to head home and power the Goodison Park side in front.
Things were progressing nicely for Everton after the break as well, with them containing the Foxes and not looking in too much trouble, but they were unable to hold on to their advantage, allowing Jamie Vardy to tap home an equaliser, before seeing their hearts broken by Kelechi Iheanacho in the final seconds of the encounter.
That was tough to take for the Toffees fans, but in adversity it is always good to find a positive and in Sidibe they certainly had one, amidst claims he was the best player on the pitch for much of the game.
His athleticism and quality on the ball, and ability to get it into the box caught the eye of many Everton supporters, plenty of whom took to social media during the match and after it, to highlight how well the on loan Monaco man was playing.
