Barry Ferguson has said on PLZ Soccer that Christopher Jullien is going to be a “massive player” for Celtic.
The former Rangers star was impressed with the performance of Jullien during Celtic’s 2-0 win against Steven Gerrard’s Gers at Ibrox in the Old Frimd derby.
Ferguson has been impressed with the 26-year-old, and believes that the former France Under-20 international is going to be a very important player for Neil Lennon’s side.
The former Scotland international midfielder has also given his take on 24-year-old Celtic left-back Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo.
“Well, you seen that in the Old Firm game,” Ferguson told PLZ Soccer. “I thought the defence was excellent.
“Bolingoli at left-back was good, Jullien, every time I watch him I think he’s going to be a massive player for Celtic.”
Good signing for Celtic
Jullien joined Celtic in the summer transfer window and has established himself as an important player in Neil Lennon’s side.
The 26-year-old took a while to settle into life at Celtic, and now he is one of the first names on the teamsheet.
The Frenchman will be a key figure for the Hoops in their quest to win the domestic treble again this season, as well as make an impact in the Europa League.
