Barcelona have their eye on a new right-back but have overlooked Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin and will instead move for Valencia star Joao Cancelo, according to Sport.
The Blaugrana parted company with long-serving star Dani Alves over the summer, who moved to Juventus, and Aleix Vidal was expected to assume the Brazilian’s position in the Catalan team.

However, it appears that Luis Enrique has some reservations over the former Sevilla wideman and has instead been largely playing the versatile Sergi Roberto at right-back.
There has been a lot of talk in the press that Barcelona may move for former youth academy player Bellerin, who could follow in the footsteps of Cesc Fabregas of having a sabbatical in North London before returning to Camp Nou.
That said, the latest report suggests that Barcelona will instead move for Valencia star Cancelo and are willing to offer Vidal as part-exchange in any deal.
Arsenal fans will hope their side can tie Bellerin down to a new contract, with speculation linking Manchester City with a move for the Gunners defender also.
