Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Spain international Paco Alcacer for €30 million (£25.5 million), as reported by BBC Sport.
The Catalan giants have been in the market for a new versatile attacker this summer and have finally come to an agreement with their La Liga rivals for the able centre forward.
The Spanish champions lack a proven option behind deadly front three Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, with Alcacer signed to provide support to the superstar trio.

It remains to be seen just how much football the new Barcelona star will receive at Camp Nou, with Suarez the first-choice number nine in Luis Enrique’s set-up.
The deal may well have some Arsenal fans scratching their heads, with Alcacer comprising an ideal signing that they could have had earlier this summer.
Although Lucas Perez has been added to Arsene Wenger’s squad, a double deal with Valencia to land Shkodran Musafi and Alcacer would surely have gotten the hearts racing at the Emirates Stadium.
