Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has dismissed rumours linking superstar Lionel Messi with a shock move to Manchester City.
The 46-year-old was quizzed on the Argentine’s future ahead of Barca’s Champions League Group C tie with Celtic, but said he had “no idea” about any transfer.

“Lionel is always ready to play and I’m sure he will be ready to face Celtic,” Enrique is reported as saying in The Guardian.
“He is 100% and eager to give the best version of himself.”
Messi missed the Catalan club’s 0-0 draw with Malaga at the weekend amid speculation that he could be set to join his old boss Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.

That result left Barca second in La Liga and they trail their fierce rivals Real Madrid by four points with just 12 games of the season gone.
There have been a number of reports already this term linking Messi with a move away from the club, with the current Ballon d’Or holder said to be unsettled in Spain after being found guilty of tax evasion over the summer.
Contract talks between Barca and their talisman are said to have stalled and some in the media expect him to run down his current deal until its expiry in 2018.
However, Messi was restored to the starting XI to face Celtic on Wednesday and scored twice in the 2-0 win over the Scottish champions.
