Tottenham Hotspur coasted to a 7-0 FA Cup win against Tranmere Rovers on Friday night at Prenton Park and fans were delighted with the performance of one of their youngsters on social media.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side booked their place in the fourth round of the cup competition with the mauling of the League Two outfit.

In truth, Tottenham were never really tested, although it did take them some time to take a hold of the tie.

Serge Aurier opened the scoring just before the half-time whistle with a stunning strike, before Spurs took complete control in the second half.

Fernando Llorente doubled their lead shortly after the restart before the Ivorian grabbed his second of the game.

Son Heung-min added to his impressive Tottenham tally this season before the Spaniard hit a quick-fire brace to complete his hat-trick.

Harry Kane then completed the rout as Spurs safely secured their passage into the next round of the competition that they would have aims of winning.

Tottenham fans were pleased with the result, and despite the number of goalscorers involved, many of them took to Twitter to praise the performance of another member of the team.

Oliver Skipp was given his chance to impress from the beginning of the game and appeared to make the most of the opportunity.

The Tottenham graduate played the whole match and showed how good he was with a great through ball for Llorente’s second goal.

Spurs fans reacted to his performance on Twitter by lauding his ability, with some stating that he had been in control in the midfield and others felt he had a big future ahead of him.
