Aston Villa take on Burnley in a Premier League clash at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.
Villa’s results have not been ideal following their return to the Premier League this season.
They will however fancy their chances of recording their record victory of the season in this game after having defeated Brighton during a League Cup clash on Wednesday.
Villa are set to have to make do without the services of Henri Lansbury (ankle injury), James Chester (hamstring injury) and Jonathan Kodjia for the game against the Clarets, according to a report which was published by Sky Sports.
Villa goalkeeper Tom Heaton is also set to play against his former side for the first time after he left the Clarets during the summer transfer window and joined Villa.
The Villans do not have the best of records against Burnley as they have managed to defeat them just once during the four Premier League games which the clubs have played against each other.
If Villa do manage to keep a clean sheet during the game, it will mark the first time that they have recorded three consecutive home clean sheets since December 2012. They have managed to keep clean sheets during three out of their last four top-flight games.
This game will be hard to predict. Villa will go into the match with confidence. In addition to their win over Brighton, they also can take plenty of positives from their 3-2 defeat against Arsenal in the League last weekend. They however need to improve at the back.
