Aston Villa are set to play against their Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in a Premier League clash at Molineux on Sunday.
The Villans will be aiming to win the game. They played admirably last weekend and led Liverpool for majority of the game even though they ended up losing 2-1.
Villa also defeated Wolves in a League Cup last 16 game two weeks ago.
Wolves are however unbeaten during their previous five Premier League games and everyone knows by now that they are probably capable of frustrating any side in the division when on song.
A late decision will be made on whether Villa captain Jack Grealish will play a part during the game, according to a report by BBC Sport
The 24-year-old is reportedly still experiencing calf pain.
The report added that Villa defender Frederic Guilbert is expected to be part of the game after having overcome a dead leg.
Jota though will not be available, even though he has since returned to training after having recovered from hernia surgery.
On paper, Wolves will be the favourites to win the game due to their greater experience in the Premier League and home advantage.
Villa however do have a good top-flight record against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
They are unbeaten during their previous nine top-flight encounters against Wolves.
The last time that they lost to them was back in May 1978 when they fell to a 3-1 loss.
It is Wolves’ longest run without a win against any side from the elite division.
