According to The Sun, RB Leipzig are interested in signing Tammy Abraham, who is on loan at Aston Villa from Chelsea at the moment.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that the German club are willing to pay £25 million to Chelsea as transfer fee in the summer transfer window in order to secure the services of the 21-year-old striker.
The report has also also claimed that Villa will look to make the striker’s loan deal from the Blues permanent this summer if they get promoted to the Premier League for the 2019-20 campaign, and it seems that Dean Smith’s side will face competition from Leipzig – who will play in the Champions League next season after securing third place in the Bundesliga this campaign.
The Villans have reached the Championship playoff final for the second season in a row, and will face Derby County at Wembley Stadium in London later this month for a place in the Premier League next season.
In the ‘regular’ Championship campaign this season, Abraham scored 26 goals and provided three assists in 39 matches for Villa, according to WhoScored.
